Zaishen Challenge Reset - Guild Wars Forums

I know that the amount of faction you can get per day using the Zaishen Challenge (not Zaishen Elite) is capped at 2k (or around there)..

Does the faction cap reset at a specific time each day, or does it reset at the time you reached it from the day before?

The full 6k cap (for Elite) expires at exactly 24 hours from when you last began playing. Logically the Challenge would be the same, but some things in GW defy logic.

One account can only earn a total of 2,000 faction per day from the Zaishen Challenge. On the battle in which you would exceed 2,000 faction, your winnings will cap at 2,000 regardless of whether you win or lose that battle. You will not be permitted to earn any more faction in Zaishen Challenge or Zaishen Elite for 24 hours.

One account can only earn a total of 6,000 faction per 24 hours from the Zaishen Elite.

Initially you can receive 2000 in Zaishen Challenge AND 4000 in Zaishen Elite to reach your 6000 limit...all in the same day.
